STARTLIT - UNIVERSE IN A FISTANK
STARLIT is an experimental video which was created in a fish tank with paint and ink. The planets you see floating across the image are tiny bubbles of ink and acrylic paint in a very thick transparent medium. The colors are very fluid, the medium is almost like a gel. The bubbles are about the size of a single drop and got filmed with several macro lenses up to 5x life size magnification. The shooting process is time consuming. To master this visual method, you have to find the perfect spot where light and sharpness, gravity, speed, motion and the shape of a drop are all in line.
This video is co-directed by my friend Jacco Kliesch, find out more about Jacco here: jacco-kliesch.com
Shot in 8K 60fps with the RED DSMC2 Helium, provided in 8K HDR.
